Dr. SHANG-MIAN YIE

 As the Research Director of Precision TCM Clinic, a leading complementary health clinic in Toronto, Dr. Yie obtained his MD degree in Chongqing University of Medical Sciences School, China, and Ph. D degree in McMaster University, Canada. He worked as a senior research associate in Toronto General Hospital, Sunnybrook and Women’s Hospital, University of Toronto and Director of Core Laboratory at Sichuan Academy of Medical Science, Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital. Currently, he is invited to be a guest professor in Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is also is a Founder and Director of Chengdu Bioengineering Institute of Cancer Research.
Since the beginning of his medical research career, Dr. Yie has published more than 50 SCI original papers in the fields of reproductive endocrinology, reproductive immunology, infertility and cancer research (Click here to link the publications). Recently, Dr. Yie engages in the studies on the integrated traditional and western medicine, trying to explore the underlying molecular mechanisms of herbal formulas for human reproductive function and undergoes some of the most rigorous testing and research of all treatment options offered by complementary and alternative therapies. He also trains PhD and Master students to set up a standardization of TCM research models in China. In Precision TCM Clinic, Dr. Yie is helping and guiding our staffs to design and perform TCM clinical research projects to further promote our medical services.
